'84 4x4 M/T with digidash

Featured Replies

Still looking for an early 80's 4x4 wagon and found one but something doesn't add up. The gentleman states that it has a 4 spd M/T but doesn't think it is duel range Hi/Lo. I thought all 4 spd manual 4x4's in 1984 were duel range? He also mentioned that it has a digidash which added to my confusion. Thought that was only available on the turbo models? Can someone please clarify what the possibilities were in 1884?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.:drunk:

84 DLs were single range.

I thought digital dashes were on anything w/GL-10 trim.

My '84 GL wagon has a digidash.

Its not a Gl10

Its not turboed

My 84 GL had digidash originally too.

along with Power steering, Power windows, sunroof, cruise and alloys.

4wd Sedan (3at) but not a GL-10

Could be anything really.....that year they were cleaning house for the EA82 introduction.

If the digidash works, great! But be warned, they will all eventually go... I swapped to an analog set, and it works pretty well, but not perfectly.

I would look for something that has analog gauges already, unless you are willing to get REALLY familiar with your new car.
