I seem to do quite a few of struts and need to buy some spring compressors. I see a lot of brands and styles and was wondering which work best for the ea82 struts.

I have a set that I got from Advance under the Powerbuilt name. Bought them last year and apparently they don't carry them anymore. They are identical to these in design:

I just changed the front struts on my ea82 wagon and xt. Used the HF spring compressor and was wary at first, but the spring compressors worked fine. You really don't need to compress very much. You'll want to have some spare rubber bumpers handy - two of my four were too far gone to reuse.
