85wagon
I cant figure it out, does anyone know the part # for the o-ring that goes between the cam case and the heads on an ea 82? or what its called?
wentz912
Cam tower o-ring. Can't remember the name subaru gives it, but let me go check to see if I still have the packaging with the part number. It's just a little tiny guy and is easily missed in the parts diagram.

wentz912
I must have tossed the packaging for those o-rings. I know the the cam seals are 806738040, and the cam o-rings are 806958020, but those are the ones on the front behind the belt gears. The cam tower o ring IS shown in the Chilton diagram....it just happens to be the ONE part that isn't labeled.
