outback seatbelt safty problem

Featured Replies

have run into 3-4 outbacks and legacys that if a large person rides in drivers side when they get out and back in agian the seatbelt makes a loop around the seat back adjuster and when driver leans forward the seat back releases unexpextedly thiss would be very dangerous if car was in crash with seatbelt like thiss I advise all my customers about thiss is a simple fix but a very overlooked problem please advise customers about thiss problem

I have indeed noticed this a couple of times as well. Usually I try to keep the lap-belt part tight, and thinking of getting a CG-clip although they are hard to get in Europe.

But this problem occurs in nearly all subarus since they share the same seat platform. (mine is an Impreza 1999)
