Mud flap bolts

Featured Replies

Finally going to put the front and rear mud flaps on my '84 BRAT. What bolts do I need to grab from the hardware store? :headbang:

It actually uses a screw with a hex head. I would do something stainless or aluminum. Drive the brat there and ask to test fit. Wish I had front flaps for my Brat. Maybe Santa this year?

Ah yes, I am starting to recall. Is it just the hex screw or is there a nut that it screws into? Great profile pic btw:D

Just screws. I see no reason you can't use bolts if that makes you feel more comfortable. Oh, and for all your legal needs....www.bettercallsaul.com

Sometimes they come up for sale here, but they go fast. Keep an eye out at wrecking yards. That's where i found mine.

Interesting! I decided to just use bolts. nuts and washers. It was kind of a pain to install the flaps without something holding the nuts on, but it works just fine. I'll pick up some of those clips next time I'm at a Knechts.

you can use all kinds of mudflaps if you cant find some for a brat. my buddy has maxima stuff all over his legacy, looks great. find something you like and use it. get some self tapping panhead screws and call it a day
