Fuel Injector 1988 GL 10

Featured Replies

Hey Ive got a faulty fuel injector. The code does not tell me which one it is, is there a trick to finding out which one or do should I just go in and inspect each one. If so what should I be looking for in faulty fuel injector when I take it out? Also does anybody know if other fuel injectors would work like a wrx one?

Disconnect the wiring at each injector.

If the engine runs the same it is probably that one. then recconect and try a different one.

Code should tell you either 1-3 or 2-4, so at least you can know which side rail. That's assuming it's MPFI.....which an 88 gl-10 should be.

what is the code #?

If they aren't working, they aren't clicking.  A stethoscope may help you isolate which one isn't clicking, also.

Its just a fuel system code, Sometimes in the mornings it starts and then sputters out, i have to goose it to keep it going, then I let it idle for a couple minutes and its fine.
