Baja strut lift question, sister struts

Featured Replies

Hello to all,

I have a 2003 Baja and would like to give it a slight no too stressful lift.  Has anyone here used struts and springs from a later year or from a outback or impreza to lift their vehicle?  If so, do I need to replace driveshafts too?  Arms?  Any help and guidance would be really appreciated.  Please no flaming.....

There was a certain year that the struts were longer on the Baja. But not sure which had them and which didn't. But someone should. Your other option is to add spacers on top of the struts. No need to change anything else unless you want to go quite a bit bigger.

I may be wrong, but i recall reading here that '03 was the shortest of the bunch. From '04 to '06 they were taller

We make a 2" kit for your Baja (listed as 1-3/4" lift)   the reason is in a strut lift only, you are rotating the arm to a new position.  Pushing 1 3/4 on the mount point of the arm, puts the wheel 2" further down.
