What will be the repair cost[ dealer or good mechanic] to replace head gaskets & one rear wheel bearing ? I may be interested in this Forester.

It cost me around 300.00 to have wheel bearing done on front of 97 legacy.

I belive wheel bearing jobs can range from $150 or so to 300

 

Head gasket jobs on the 2.5 liters can go from 1200 to 1500 on average.

Thanks for the estimates. I passed on bidding on it,& it didn't meet reserve, but the owner offered it to me for $3600 If someone else may be interested in it, contact him.
