anyone find brands/years that match up with an 84 GL wagon?  my front seats are shot and I'm hoping to find something that lines up and fits in.

I have seen some threads on this before, I think some year ford escort seats will fit. I can't remember for sure try searching this site with google since the search function on this site is overly complicated, type your key words the type link:ultimatesubru.org in google.

The seats in my 84 wagon are from a 97 escort. There are much nicer. To install them, you use your stock seat rails and bolt them to the new seat. You will have to oval out one the holes on each of the brackets. Them just bolt them in and go.

Zx2 escort seats are nicer. Its the coupe. I had one.
