Bratworst82
My '82 Brat has a leather(?) pouch that is velcroed to the back wall below the window. What is if for?

86BRATMAN
I don't think that bag is stock. I've been around a number of brats in my days. last time I counted between me and dad there have been 9 gen2s here, and I've never seen anything that sounds like that. Gloyale
It's for the tool pouch. SInce there is no trunk or storage compartments. Edited April 20, 2013 by Gloyale
Bratworst82
I'm not allowed to post pics. I can email it to someone who can.
rdweninger
I think your Brat was built/designed for the Austrailian market. The 'pouch' simulates the common Aussie marsupial known as the kangaroo. But seriously, my brother had a '85 Brat... and I remember he had some protective piece for his fun-tops and kept them behind the seat. I don't remember if he had a pouch. Not sure if any of it was stock... long time ago.
