There's a set of Brat Rear Jump seats for sale on ebay.

I'm in need of a pair for my 86'. But the post on ebay says the seats they're selling are compatible for 78' through 85', and that their  not compatible with an 86' Brat.

Is this true, or can I add/modify something to make them work?

Yes they will. But the Headrest might be different in legnth.

The seats didn't come in the 86. They will work, but the mounts for the headrest, as stated above, are different. I cut mounts off an older brat and welded them to my 86, and bolted my seats in so I can remove them if I need the extra space. 

Thanks for the Input~ I thought that I had read that the 86' Brat didn't come with Jumpseats. Just wanted to confirm that they'd still work before shopping for them.

Good luck with the bidding! Maybe there's been a thread in the past regarding the rear jump seats and how they came to be! If not, it would be a fun one to start! That darn 25% truck import tax killed the beloved Brat!
