October 10, 201312 yr Idk, can you ? Lol. You can do just about anything you want to a car, depending on your mechanical knowledge & how much $$$ you're willing to spend .... Do a little research, I'm sure some people have put EJ20s into their Gl/DL.
October 10, 201312 yr Welcome. It's been done I'm sure. Somewhere, someone put the 300HP WRX engine in a GL. I think it snapped 3 axles in it's first 20 miles or something like that. If you're looking for a good power upgrade, most will probably steer you toward an EJ22 swap for simplicity and reliability. Personally, I wouldn't want much more power than that in a GL without beefing up axles etc to match. If you've got a killer deal on that motor, I'm sure it can/has been done. Adapter plates are offered for sale. Do lots of research!
October 11, 201312 yr nstalling it with the bellhousing is similar to all the ej swap posts on here. You will want a crossmember from a turbo car, or cut out a space to allow for the up pilpe. There are examples, it has been done with many different engines.

Sedan? It's been done by a member of this board.into a Loyale type wagon. He had a lift...dropped the engine cradle enough to fit the two turbos. hth Doug
