so anyhow, my car, which has the latest made subaru maf sensor available, a diamond coil-pack, bosch platinum plugs, OEM wires, LSDs front and rear, airbox cut mod, and a bad front cat. reset my ECU yesterday and had fun running it around.

 

Anyhow, from a couple stop lights, I basically was less than a foot from his bumper. (of course he was in the other lane) Although he could have done better if he learned how to launch properly! We didn't get into the higher gears because we were in town, so we only got to see to what 50 is like.

 

For going against a Phase I 2.5GT outback, do you think I did well? Manual 5 speed in both cars.

You dont' have LSD in the front Jon, the only car with a front LSD is an STi as far as I know, and the rear LSD well, I'm not sure about that one so I'll keep my mouth shut lol..

Drive my car around some corners hard, and tell me when you punch it that it's not an limited slip. Why then does it bark my tires around even small corners so much?

Check the air pressure in the tires and it'll stop. When mine had to little air they would cherp around every corner when I hit the gas.

Is your car a sedan? If so then no big deal...you should beat an OBSW--they're tanks. I was driving my parents 5mt OB wagon this weekend and its a floaty (way too much PS assist) slow (how much does this thing weigh) boat compared to my legacy. Plus there are so many variables with manual trannys when it comes to driver ability...a stock 2.2 with a good driver could blow away a dumb a** in a piped out 2.5.

well, it was a '99 Legacy Wagon... I thought it was an outback station wagon, but it's actually a legacy outback. evidentally the OBSWs are pretty heavy?
