coolant crossover pipe question

Featured Replies

That part that I think goes to the heater core, the one with the smaller diameter hose on it.. does that part come off the pipe? It's got a screw with a 6-pt head but I was unable to get it to come off at all.

Pressed in pretty good.

I've never removed one.

Never saw the need to remove. It does go to the outlet side ( upper/ leftmost) of the heater.

See pic.

I have had that pipe off - was not the easiest thing to do - mine was kind of crudded up, and there is an o-ring in there - was a bit of a bear to get back in place too...

if it isnt leaking, leave it be.

looks nice - powder coat?
