fuel sender wiring ?

Featured Replies

So im not getting power to my fuel gauge and i suspect the connector by the floor on the drivers side that is for all the wires that run accross the dash to the stuff in the back such as the fuel pump. im having troubles locating a wiring diagram to figure out which wire on that connector is for the sending unit. any help would be appreciated.

Be Careful!

The sender units sends Ground (-) Signal to the Gauge,

The Power Signal (+) is given by the instrument Cluster.

The wiring runs along the passenger side door sill harness/ The gas tank sender to body harness plug is located in the passenger side cargo well in the rear quarter panel under a metal plate mounted by screws. Inspect for debris or corrosion. Good luck

Looking at some data for a different model it shows the wire from the gauge is a brown/white wire. The two senders are in series with each other tied together via a blue wire and end with a blk/yel wire from the second sender tieing to ground. Your model might be the same possibly.
