01 Outback jambed glove box door

Featured Replies

Need to know how to get glove box open with out destroying the dash. First of all the lock on glove box works with the key. The problem is when I unlock it with the key the handle will not lift up to open the  glove box .Wife or son broke the small plastic cover off the handle and stuck it back on with some carefully folded tape on the back side so I would not find out they broke it. As always neither one will tell on the other or tell me story of what happened to it . So how do I open it without using a crow bar and destroying the glove box door and dash ???    thanks

Try working it free with a pocket knife blade. Just don't pry on anything.
