A couple years ago I saw at an electronics super sale a stereo that was set up for the loyale style body. I need to get something for a gl-10 and she doesn't want to loose the trip computer and such, so I am looking for one that is a drop in to that area.

Anybody found any decent ones?

I assume your GL-10 is 87 or older.. so the trip computer is next to the deck.

There are 2 options.

 

First, there is a faceplate adapter available, but sometimes hard to get. Its made by metra, and it allows a DIN sized deck and the trip computer to coexist happily.

 

Or, as I have done. I got the Metra kit for a car without the trip computer and I moved my trip computer down into the cubby hole below the ashtray. Its easy to do, as that is the stock locTION FOR 88-89 gl-10.. I just used parts from an 88 for the housing.
