November 28, 201411 yr Doing a swap, and I have a 1997 2.5 DOHC out of an Auto. Outback. The harness has been hacked up in the past so I don't trust it. What years are compatible with this engine and do I need to shop Tranny specific for the ECM?
November 28, 201411 yr Engine side or Car Side and what engine are you swapping in? 95-99 2.2 and 2.5 engine harness are pretty much the same, some minor differences. 96-99 2.5 DOHC will plug and play for sure.
