I was just fiddling with this idea. I have a 97' Impreza 2.2L and I was wondering if anyone knows or has ever gotten a 6 cylinder 3.0L into the engine bay.

Main questions is, would a 3.0L fit into the engine bay of a 97' Impreza?

its been done several times. physically placing the engine is the easy part. wiring will suck donkey tail. the end result should be fun though

 

if i remember some one did it in a rally car with a big turbo as well. on you tube
