December 13, 201411 yr What is the name of the little blue/black box on the driver side kick panel for the fuel pump?
December 14, 201411 yr nope, not available, and they always fail. that box shuts off the fuel in the event of a rollover (or accident?). you can jumper the connector that goes to it but you then lose the safety feature.
December 14, 201411 yr Author thanks for the info. Much like a drunk girl at a frat party, it's getting jumped.
December 14, 201411 yr It's called the Fuel Pump Control Unit. or sometimes shown as "rev sensor" in schematics. It cannot tell if you've rolled over. It can only tell when there is a coil pulse (tachometer) and will only give power to the Fuel pump AND the Choke and Vent solenoid while cranking or running. The EA82 versions are the same function, but not the same unit. You can bypass them but make sure to power your Choke and solenoid too.
