Anybody wanna check out Reiter this weekend?

Featured Replies

I'm gonna be checking out Reiter pit this weekend if anybody wants to join. I know there's only one or two short trails for 4x4's, so I'm not calling it a wheeling trip..more or less just checking it out. I'm hoping to be up there around noon this next Saturday.

I've seen a few vids on Youtube.  Looks pretty gnarly.  Huge obstacle after obstacle.   I haven't been there forever.  I'd like to see what they've done with the place.

Compared to how it used to be. . .  Pretty gnarly is how I'd describe it.  Just a few puddles and some fallen logs before.

I never got to do the Lake Izzy trail.  None of the Subarus we brought could make it over the rock on the initial climb.  By the time I got lockers in my Toyota, cuz open I couldn't make it, they'd closed it.

I went there every other weekend for ever.  I miss the hell out of it, it was perfect for learning a Subaru.  A little too rough for anything stock (the Hobbit trail), but tough enough to give a challenge to the guys new to their rigs.  A few deep puddles to test the cajones.  lol  And I guess the good old Powerllnes trail up the rocks. . .   God I miss that place.

I never even got a chance to get out to Reiter because I was still building my Jeep when it closed! I lived in Everett at the time so I was eyeing it and everything I heard was awesome.

I'm not gonna be able to make it out to Reiter tomorow, I've got a noise coming from the front of my engine and I need to check it out before going back out. I'm hoping its a power steering noise, but I'm afraid its a idler bearing. I'll head out there at some point soon and I'll post up again if anyone wants to join.
