August 7, 201510 yr okay so i have basically completed the ej swap, everything except the wiring. most the wiring is done but i cant get it to run. considering hiring somebody to troubleshoot. how much would somebody with ej wiring experience charge to come over and trouble shoot my wiring issues? I live in Woodinville thanks in advance
August 20, 201510 yr I don't know about the ej. But just basic trouble shooting I'll start with gas making sure the pump working then spark etc. Etc.. You have everything wire in? Might be your problem if it's not.

August 21, 201510 yr double check your grounds for the ecm. I dont know specifics but if the ecm detects wonky grounds they wont activate on some of them. I heard of Nissans that had issues because the case for the ecm lost ground from rusty bolts,
August 22, 201510 yr Have you checked your fuses? Some times its that simple. Then I would pop the top on your disty check the cap for cracks, corrosion, fouling, and if the rotor is damaged. Do you have a shop manual?
