Daz999 Posted August 8, 2015 Share Posted August 8, 2015 (edited) I am swapping engines (169k engine developed rod knock, putting in 105k engine). While dealing with one thing or another, I forget what, I heard a clatter. By the time I found the source I could not remember what precipitated the noise. Here is what I found on the ground. Small L-shaped bit of black metal with holes at each end, some sort of bracket, and a spring. If anything else fell off I haven't seen it yet. Its a 2005 Subaru Legacy Outback, 2.5 SOHC.
