cyclops light differences the 1980 -81 4x4 gl headlight door differ from the 1982 was wondering if the dl single headlight 1982 on we're the same as the 82 4x4 or are they all round? I have an 1982 brat cyclops eye grill seeking left and right headlight doors and can't find any that fit does anyone know? Thanks

Huh? Left and right headlight doors? They never had any. The cyclops setup was the only one with a door. You can't install them over or in place of your regular headlamps without a lot of fabbing. If that's what you're trying to do....

Thanks but No the headlight bezel is also called a door in the parts book right and left bezels I'm not talking about the center, passing lamp cover I think I now have the part numbers and the lens is still available at the Subaru dealer thanks

Oh and if you don't believe me just google headlight door and see what comes up????

The 1982 bezels are unique to that year, in that they are chrome finish. 1983 onwards was black finish. I am running the 1982's (see my pictures). 1981 is different again, with the >=< grille, which can also be found with the Cyclops setup.

Of that era;

 

GL's had the single 4x6 rectangular headlights,

Dl's had the single large round headlights.

 

Then there is the Chrome, no Chrome trim package also.

Hilux Rectangular headlights are a bolt in H4 halogen upgrade for rectangular sealed beam setups, Cheap and plentifull from wreckers while you have it apart.
