97 Leagacy outback. 2.5l DOHC.

I am trying to locate a new woodruff key for the crankshaft to timing gear and balancer. I got a new timing sprocket and balancer but I need a new key. Anyone know where or what size it is?

Advance Auto, NAPA  and others sell packs of them. Never measured.

Or just take the balancer with you to NAPA. NAPA sells bar stock in 10-12 inch lengths. Cut off what you need and save the rest for whatever.

The right Wood druf key got here today. Came from Troncalli Subaru in Cumming GA. Have to work tonight and through the weekend so it will be going back together Monday. Picked up a 6mm helicoil kit to fix some of the iffy threads on the right side valve cover and timing cover.

Back together, No more oil leaks, New head gaskets holding up, Used transmission shifting great. Finally done......
