Bought a '96 Legacy L wagon with 165K miles for just $1550 and am loving it! I think it was that cheap because think the seller had hit a bump while carrying a big pot of curry -- the headliner and cargo-area
carpet were splattered. A little elbow grease and it looks fine.

Welcome!

We love Photos here, so maybe you can share a couple of Photos of your Subie with us. The Curry story sounds fun, does your Subie still Smells like Curry?

Kind Regards.

Hi JesZeK;

Thanks for your reply. My car no longer smells like curry. I like curry, so the odor didn't bother me, but my sister-in-law thought it was bad. The dark splatter marks were what mattered to me.

Oddly enough, I have no photos of my Subie! It's filthy right now, as you might imagine living up here in the mountains. I plan to wash and detail it this weekend and will send at least one photo.

Good Sube's to ya! Just put a bunch of elbow grease into a 99 Leagcy. At first I thought the previous owner had a thing for candied almonds. Turns out the "almonds" were some kind of cocoon. Found them in the ctr. console box, the seat rails and behind some of the trim pieces near the floor. The car had been sitting under a tarp for about a year. Lots of weird stuff in Baru's, besides the drivers!
