So i picked up this lil number yesterday. Im diggin the N/A EA82 POWAH!

But I'm sure I'll dig the 32+mpg more lolIMAG0520.jpgIMAG0516.jpgIMAG0517.jpg

thats the multipoint fuel injected was only in some of the xts i think

Enjoy it just as is. The configuration is the best for longevity in that it is powerful enough although laughable in comparison to anything EJ and beyond , and five speed FWD - all we need 98% of the driving we do. Especially now that it's Classic !!

It would, but a very easy swap is the SVX 3.3L H6, I swapped one into mine just over 20 years ago and it fits and even stock provides amazing power for the car! I see you have an SVX in your signature so you have the luxury of doing some visual comparisons to get your mind working. You can also fit in two of the IHI RHB5 turbos, intercoolers, and piping, although today there are much better choices in turbos. And of course you can make the same power with a JDM STi swap and it fits easier, but that big H6 makes a statement.

That pic of the manifold takes me back, that is how mine started life with an EA82 with that grid pattern, very pretty!
