January 12, 201610 yr Brats only had them if they had the feedback carb and yes, they were located under the steering column. Check the carb. If there's more than two wires going to it, excluding the choke, then it's feedback and you should have an ECM.
January 12, 201610 yr Author Okay Now that I have your attention , Do have wires either side of carb and one towards front right and one to air cleaner bottom.Still not seeing computer, And if it has not got one ? What would Stop the engine from starting and not pump gas------New fuel pump--That has been working fine.Still have spark at plugs --Will not start Even with starting fluid NOTHING Is there another sensor?What and where ?Thank you
January 13, 201610 yr Well, it sounds like a feedback carb. There should be connectors hanging under the steering column and an ECS light on the dash if it was a feedback vehicle. No, it won't run without the ECU. Nothing to turn the fuel pump on and to turn the shut off solenoid on.
