Ultra Grey on Oil Pump Gasket?

I got the kit for rebuilding my EA81's oil pump, and found that the body gasket was a flimsy paper gasket. Is it advisable to put a light coating of ultra grey silicon on the body gasket before installation? Thanks guys!

I use Loctite 518 flange sealant on mine and none have leaked yet. If you do choose Ultra Grey/Fuji/Toyota/Nissan Bond then I would apply it sparingly. You don't want any inside the pump where the rotor is.

    I do believe it is to be assembled without a sealant but I don't think that Ultra Grey will really hurt if used sparingly. I did mine dry and seems fine as the O-rings are what really seals.
