Well its one dag gum thing after another.... I have my heads back on with new head gaskets and pushrods, and as I was adjusting the valves today, I noticed that the rocker arm was extremely loose. I compared it with the other rocker arm, and found that my left hand rocker arm is missing the spring washers.            

So now I gotta find out what kind of spring washers these are and where I can buy them from... unless of course it is possible to run the rocker arm without them... any advice on where to find these spring washers? My local hardware store and automotive shop doesnt have it... I live about 80 miles/1hr 45mins from the nearest Home Depot. Does anybody know where I can buy these stupid things online? Or what size they are? Or have any info on them at all? 

I'll send you a complete unmolested rocker assembly. Please PM with any markings you can find on your rocker shaft so I can match up the correct one. I know it sucks but try and have patience, you'll get it running yet This type of thing happens a lot when you are working on older cars.

The guys here are so cool, ive been following most of your stuff as im currently building an ea81, like mr loyale said, its all experience, and since its being documented we can share our experience. If everyone was as willing to help the people around them as the members here, humanity wouldn't be so hopeless.-end rant
