September 6, 20169 yr Okay, got a 88 DL wagon with an EA81 in it. I think I have the right spots on the ea82 harness for the temp guage, but I'm not sure if the 2 blade gauge on the ea81 will work with the ea82 harness? thoughts?
September 20, 20169 yr Im going to assume by "gauge" you are refurring to the sender. The senders should be interchangeable between EA81/82's. So you could find a single terminal sender and install it, or figure out which terminal on the sender is for the gauge. The 2 terminal senders were for feedback cars one terminal was for the gauge the other for the ecm. Without looking up the info I could not tell you which is which. So in other words might have to experiment with terminals.
October 10, 20169 yr Author the 88DL was originally SPFI. I still need to get the FSM so I can look at the wiring diagram....

December 11, 20169 yr Author thanks JesZek. Looks like the "stock" sender was a single wire, but I was able to get my ea81 2 wire to work fine. I hooked it up to the wrong wires 5 years ago
