93 legacy 22T swap to 92 loyale about get started

Featured Replies

So this last weekend i went & looked @ a 93 legacy turbo that i wanna use as my donor car!  i'm picking it up saturday!  i'm currently have a few conversations going with a few shops here in the Denver area.  i have about 2 months for it. pretty much take everything from the legacy & put it into the loyale.

i need to get a somewhat detailed list of what is required for this so that the shop can get a better idea too.  do any of you guys have a link to good posts about what you or other guys modified .  ANY help or push in the right direction is apprieciated.  if you have friends or names of shops that arent too far away that is capable of tackling this project for me with be helpful too.

thanks,

chris

I know 1.8s and 2.2s swap in no problem, just gotta modify the engine mount holes in the xmember a little. A turbo 2.2 I don't know.

Contact Shawn W. at RetroRoo in Denver.

He owns that Company, and is the Administrator of this Board.

The exhaust Y pipe has to be modified as it won't fit around the EA82 cross member. I don't remember if the down pipe has to be modified as well. Yes, contact Shawn for sure since you're in Denver. I would have him do it unless you know for sure the other place is reputable and knows what they're doing.

Retroroo is *the* place to go in the Denver area. Doubtful anybody else around has nearly as much experience or knowledge with these cars and swaps.
