ALib
Hi everyone, my car seems to have a slow leak between the core and the plastic top wall of the radiator. Do I have to replace the entire radiator? Where can I find one? I live in Sydney, Australia. Thanks.
lmdew
Yes, replace the radiator is the best option. You could take it to a radiator shop, they may be able to stop the leak by crimping the metal clamp a little more and pressure testing it. There is a rubber gasket between the plastic tank and the core. I would think you could order a radiator online.
DaveT
04 with original radiator? I'd replace it.
Rooster2
Not worth trying to patch up a 12 year old radiator. New radiators are inexpensive in USA, would also think so in Australia. Rather easy to replace yourself with minimum tools and time.
