can you put on a center lamp or head lamp on a 1982 gl wagon. if so where can i find one with the grill.

Only if you dont have a/c. The cooler is in the way. If not, you wont need the grill, it can be cut to fit.

I have added a centerlamp on my 83 wagon with AC. Mine is a 4 headlight frontend so I have to chop out a stock grill cuz they didnt put the centerlamp option on the quad light cars.

 

What makes it not work?

 

I havent operated it yet but its bolted on and ready to be powered up.

My '82 brat came with the star emblem missing from the grill. When I found a "third eye" (center light) at pick 'n pull I took the works, grill, light, bracket, screws and wiring to the first connector. I also found an empty connector on my brat in the same place I disconnected from the doner car. It plugged right in. I also have ac, and have not tried it yet.

My 82 brat has AC and factory center light.
