no fun for me in Johnson valley

Featured Replies

I had to head down to my house in Johnson valley to do some clean up kinda on short notice and some work on the house I've been working my loyale like a dog using it to demo a mobile home and some truck campers and haul heavy trailer loads of trash through deep sand not exsacly fun or wheelin but it kinda is about a week in to the clean up with a load around 1500lbs on the back of little blue I drop the clutch and nothing. I put it In to 4wd and it sank on the one corner that had a rear axle on it sure enuff up front there were cage parts and bearings in the sand my brand new home rebuilt orealy axle finally let loose not bad it lasted 2 years I rebooted and regressed a brand new axles compared to running them out of the box and getting a few months out of them it did good so now I had one rear tire spinning my friend and I managed to get it back on to the hard pack I pulled the bad front and reinstalled the back so I'm now in rwd mode with a locked rear end lol It did better in fwd only high range and a open diff than it dose in rwd low and locked up I had it buried In the soft sand to the point it wouldn't move I jacked it up but it just dug right back in after 5 or so tryes I pulled cable and for the first time ever I got to use the winch for what I bought it for instead of just moving stuff it was so dug in I was pulling a Nissan 300zx with no wheels around while giving it gas and the little loyale just sank it came out eventually but it was really stuck long story short with out 4wd I'm not going to be hitting any trails this trip I haven't seen the guy from fox shocks this trip ether he must not be around I haven't gotten out much ether I haven't even run the wraith yet this trip and I always make time for my toys but there's just no fun for me in Johnson valley but next trip its on
