HELLO BACK AGAIN with solutions to problems....

Okay so as for the first issue posted in this thread. the alternator and battery issue was actually just a crap alternator right out of the box. wired the new one up the same way and it's working perfectly on all fronts.  Now i was having an issue with the car idle and it turns out that was due to a really dirty IAC (idle air control valve) took it off and cleaned it and it's working perfectly.

I was also having an issue with the car starting and it turned out the spark plugs and ignition coil were just in bad shape.  wanted to let ya'll know everything is working perfectly now and I can finally enjoy my GL! it's been great to drive. thanks for all the help everyone!
