Hey everyone! I drive a 2003 Impreza Outback sport that is lifted about 2.5-3" but I'm starting to have problems with my cv axles. The rear passenger side makes a popping noise through turns and when going straight sometimes. I've looked everywhere but can't seem to find heavy duty axles for the rear or if there are any other upgrade options. Thanks to anyone who can help me out!

how long did the OEM axles last? maybe get some used rear axles, regrease and reboot, and run them until they need replacement?

 

Heri makes an axle with extra articulation - you might check into those.

OEM axles. Used are a dime a dozen just buy a few at a time. $15-$30 each easy. Www.car-part.com

 

If you want to reduce issues drop the diff an inch.
