SubaruLover20
Me again I have rims on my 93 Legacy and they are off a 2000 dodge neon the "fancy" alloy rims and there is a gap inbetween the lug nut studs and the rims I need spacers, "not wheel spacers" but I don't know where to get them or what size they need to be. Mike104
Is the wheel fully against the hub? I don't understand what you are saying. Maybe post a photo
john in KY
I am also confused but in my case that is normal. The Subaru and Neon have different center bores. The Neon is larger and the wheel is no longer hubcentric on the Subaru. Maybe that is what the OP is referring to. There are charts out there that give the dimensions and companies that manufacture "rings" that make ip the differences. Do a goggle search for "wheel center bore".
CNY_Dave
Perhaps the clearance hole in the rim for the hub ring is too small (not deep enough, not large enough in diameter, or both) in the neon rims to fit over the hub's centering ring on the subaru hub? jp98
It sounds like the Neon's wheel studs are a larger diameter than they are on the Legacy. In which case, sell the Neon's rims and buy some for the Legacy.
Fairtax4me
Pretty sure neon wheel center hole is smaller. No way to make that work properly without a wheel spacer.

This is exactly what the problem is the only other issue is that I can't sell the neon rims where I live because no one wants to give me ten bucks for them I need spacers to fit in stud hole of the neon rim to close the gap so my rims are centered I just don't know where to get them
Gloyale
if the holes are too large for the suds just get lugnuts with a "shoulder"
matt167
Yes, Chrysler products use lug nuts that are shouldered. The thread is 12x1.25, take a visit to a parts store and grab some. Anything less than this solution, you may find yourself loosing a wheel, or 2 or
CNY_Dave
The thing to be aware of is if the studs are flexing even a tiny bit, over time they can fatigue and all 5 shear at once. That was the failure mode for when subaru published the wrong lug torque, driving along and whole wheel falls off with no warning, all 5 lugs sheared. So, use caution!
