I am looking for Crystal White SILICA paint touchup for my 2015 Subaru Impreza. The K1X paint code and Subaru Part Number J361SAL000A1 listed everywhere is actually for Crystal White PEARL, I'm holding one of these OEM Subaru touchup up sticks in hand. The PEARL is similar to the SILICA but Crystal White SILICA has reflective silica? chips in it to emulate a metallic paint. Crystal. I touched up a scrape but it's obviously missing the reflectivity of the Silica. Anyone know how to get the SILICA version?

Look at the metal stamped plate in the engine bay and get the paint code and post it here. Give that to Subaru or google it.

 

Your car has a specific identifying paint code - start there.

Cars101.com does not list Crystal White Silica for that year Impreza.  It lists Crystal White Pearl K1X.  Best get the paint code from your car and work from that.

Crystal white Silica is unique to 2017, and also has the K1X code

 

It should be the same color. The touch-up paint is single stage, and will not recreate the pearl very well, this is most evident on white cars. Satin white pearl is the worst....
