Can someone steer me to the info on installing a Ford Escort distributor onto a 2.5 Subaru?

You can't. There is no distributor drive on a 2.5

Chris, can you describe the problem the car has or explain what you want to accomplish?

 Some of the sand rails install a distributor on the end of the cam on a single overhead cam engine. They also install a carb and get rid of all the computer stuff.

The airplane guys do the same thing. I may check with them.  Thanks-----------  Chris

I think there may be quite a few Aussie sandrails with soob engines. Otherwise, I dunno.
