IN URGENT NEED of 89' GL Base LOWER RIGHT CONTROL ARM(transverse link)

Featured Replies

I may or may not have been drifting around in some snow when I hit a curb inevitably screwing the control arm and leading rod. Ofcourse with my luck 89' GL control arms are a discontinued part. If anyone has a parts GL or any car that has a control arm compatible with mine and is willing to sell it to me I'd be immensely grateful.

I just had this happen to me in my 84 GL... I ended up getting a used radius rod, sway bar, and control arm at a pull n save. I would check the internet for pull n saves and junk yards in your area. That is probably your best bet as a lot of board members dont really have the time or really want to rip suspension parts off of their parts cars (assuming they have parts cars.)

There is a 90 loyale at the junkyard i frequent. Can't imagine they are different at all.

Want me to grab it for you? Shipping might be expensive though. I am in CO

I think in the 90s Subaru changed their control arm set up, I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure 80-89 will work but starting into the 90s o think they changed their control arm setup. Somebody please correct me if I’m wrong...

Well damn, that's too bad. As far as old gen subes around here, a GL in the junkyard is a rare sight.

Good luck getting your sube fixed up and drifting around again.

Beautiful car by the way

I've got a wrecked GL in my driveway that I just pulled the entire front end off of. Drivers side is bent all to hell, but passenger side stuff is ok.

I think it's an 88. Send me an email if you still have a need.
