1986 Subaru GL-10, trying to find this one part

Featured Replies

This thing, knowing what it's called would be a good start. Anyone have one in Washington? Thank you.

AF to turbo duct. I should still have one so I'll check. I'm in Puyallup. Ski

Close inspection might reveal its part number cast in the plastic. Not sure if series 1 is same as your series2 with hot wire afm

Unfortunately I don't actually have the part. I recieved the car for free with the part missing. This is a photo I found online with the same engine and missing part intact.

Time to measure up for wide range of silicone hoses pipes and ducts etc

Yay...

I'll update if I find something, if not I'm still looking and would be happy to take one off someone's hands if they're looking to get rid of it

Tell me the year you are looking for. Yes you said 86, is there a difference between the years or any turbo ea-82 will work?

I'm not 100% sure but this specific version seems to be in many late 80s subys

Well if you want, I know where some turbos cars are where I am at. I used to live in Port Orchard; moved over to eastern Wa. about 5 years ago. If you are serious about it, I will get one and send it to you. What do you think?

Okay. I will going up to do an electrical job in an area where I know where a couple of them are and will touch bases with the people and see what I come up with. I will let you know.

So I stopped and talked with the owners, I'm picking up the whole car tomorrow. The first thing I checked was to see if it had your part and it does. Score on your part. Think of anything else you may need and I will see what the car has.

Here's a photo of my engine and where things are missing. It also needs windshield and moonroof glass. I haven't been able to get to the grit of it to know if it needs anything else but it starts and the oil is old but clear of any negative signs.

Nope. Gone already before I got the car. It was pretty much stripped already. I just grabbed the front lights for me and the part for Dragon and already scrapped it. But I have 2 more to get. So let me know what you guys are looking for and I will snag what I can. I have everything for my Rx so it is just extra goodies for my Subie bros. :)
