Can't find 92ausubaru post looking for this...I have this dizzy with body loom side plugged in for a few inches

White dizzy sides to black

Black dizzy to black/red

Green dizzy side to white

Red dizzy side to red

 

Black/red body side is only one not shielded

Same colours as the 88XT but with reference and position wires reversed.

Should mean that +12v (red) and Gnd (black/red) are correct which is the main thing

 

Just for a point of interest. the Subaru optical distributor uses a J912 Mitsubishi Crank Angle Sensor that is also found in these vehicles

Noticed that that crank angle sensor had such a wide range of makes & models for application when I hunted for a replacement too.

Just don't pull apart ( a good one) the way Steptoe did !

Hmm, maybe...so long as you share...I had intended to see which pin is which wire...they is two clear LED there for the individual tracks of disc. Think it's four slots and 360 holes

Infra red LEDs. can only see them shining when looking through phone camera (light purple colour)

The LED's wont be connected to the output wires directly, they will feed the gate of a FET which will be connected to the output wires along with some circuitry for noise and error correction.

If you remove it from the dizzy and post it to me, I'll power it up, test it and share the photos
