Carb connector

Featured Replies

I just got back from junk yard with a good looking carb for my ea82, my old hitiachi carb has a 3 prong connector and the new one has a 4 prong connector. The extra wire goes here (see picture of old carb). The old one has one wire going to this part the new one has two. How do I hook this up?

This is really easy to solve...

Ditch it and buy a weber, problem solved LOL

Cheers,

Al

One of the 2 wires to that solenoid is a ground.  The 3 wire has no ground.

Swap connectors and or add an ring connector somewhere as appropriate.
