October 3, 20196 yr will the front hubs from a 2001 forester work on a 2001 outback? i know the forster was using the older 95-99 outback style suspention and i know the rears are different but what about the fronts? if i can use te parts i have i wont buy more.
October 3, 20196 yr If you're talking about just the hub flange, definitely. If you're talking about the whole knuckle (with the wheel bearing and hub flange), probably, the only thing to look at would be the ABS sensor location.
October 3, 20196 yr If you don’t care about loosing ABS then yes. Not if you want to retain ABS functioning. They have different ABS sensor locations and set up. 10 years ago I briefly contemplated swapping these and splicing the original ABS sensor connector onto the donor ABS sensor so it would plug into the vehicle. If tone ring teeth count is the same and the FSM lists the same testing parameters for the sensor, you’ve got a chance of it working. Edited October 3, 20196 yr by idosubaru
