i have a few lcd's lined up .. that i either have or can afford but i will take a look at what you have thoughtfully suggested might be better thant my idea's :)

I saw this ford focus that was tricked out and, the instrument panel was a flat monitor. It looked super cool.

from experience i would suggest not using cheap screens. if you are lookin at it at ANY "off" angle, the picture will have the look of a negative. even some of the name brand lcd's are that way. i know alot of the older sony's had a horrible picture if you were not directly in front of it. i am using a Kenwood eXcelon LZ800. looks awesome at even when off to the side. plus it controls its functions via touchscreen:brow:

well i do currently have a few lcd screen's dstn i think 11" and 12"00 i think

 

but i alsow just got a fujistu stylistic for a good price a

and it has a tft screen!! yaya

so iw ill either use it untill i get my full one car pc finished

or tear it downfor the screen

right now until i get the correct lcd to fit in the dash for my better car pc system

i snagged anifty tablet pc off ebay with a 8" tft lcd in it it only runs at 120 mhz

but its enough for mp3's and to tune my subaru with...
