June 8, 20205 yr So i broke my rear axle and rear control arm and i have trouble finding new axle. Need some suggestions. I can weld up new rear end with stronger control arms but i can not find replacement rear right axle. Can i use axles from newer subarus? Can i use cv joints from any other subaru? Does the driveshaft match any later subarus differential? Should i use another diff from later model subaru with new axles? I really need some suggestions.
June 8, 20205 yr use a left rear it will work fine lol there are some options if you want to build your own axles but stock ones are still easy to find check ebay the rear diffs are mostly interchangeable with minor modification usualy just need a stub shaft change or maybe the diff itself but the wheel side is were things start to change theres alot of thr3ads about axles and there interchangeabulity what fits what and the different rigs they go on
