July 6, 20205 yr Our daily driver 2006 Tribeca - Wire brushed the exhaust where the doughnut gasket seals, installed a new Subaru doughnut and it still leaks. What are my options?

July 7, 20205 yr Lots of times the old donut will leave section in the rear pipe. I've had to chisel them out.

Chiseled out and wire brushed both but the rear was harder to see from the angle I was working and most of the chiseling was up front so maybe I missed some
July 8, 20205 yr The shoulder of the spring bolt should be up against the flange. The spring hold tension on the connection.
