I have a 1990 Loyale that was a running parts car until I accidentally touched two exposed wires together in the radio area, and now the engine isn’t getting spark at the plugs. I want to move it around my property but can’t figure it out. I’ve swapped in a known good coil and tried “hot wiring” it by running a wire from the positive post of the battery to the positive side of the coil, but still no spark at the plugs. Any ideas how to Hotwire this so I can get it moved?

Check all the fuses?  Or at least that the ECU and coil gets power.

 

Check the fusible links next to the battery.
