December 5, 20214 yr Have a problem with windshield problem. I have good flow of washer fluid, but squirts at the bottom of the windshield glass. I can't figure out how to adjust, so quirts much higher. Any advise? Thanks
December 5, 20214 yr just looked at mine. there are nozzles on driver and passenger side... correct? are both mis-aimed? dirt occluding the nozzle?
December 5, 20214 yr the little 'orifices' are usually adjustable. Sometimes a sewing needle is all that's necessay. Some designs may need something special, probably available foe a couplabucks at the parts store.

I think the needle technique applies to the type mounted on the hood. If it's just one side, open the hood and make sure there isn't any leaf or other debris lodged in the mechanism keeping it from rotating freely. Edited December 5, 20214 yr by brus brother
December 9, 20214 yr Author I have tried the needle inserted inside the sprayer unit to clean it out. Then with needle inserted, I pulled up on the needle to adjust upward the spray, but nothing changed. What am I missing to do???
December 9, 20214 yr is your sprayer mounted ON the hood or is it mounted in a cradle underneath the hood?
December 13, 20214 yr Author Mounted under the hood. There seems to be some sprayer movement. Thinking of taping it up in the most upper position, though don't know it this is going to help.
December 13, 20214 yr no dirt impeding the movement within the "cradle" holding the sprayer? I'm assuming it is just one side that is wonky? Compare the mechanisms and movement within the cradle to the other side. Did it pop out of the hinged position or is the hinge broken? This ain't rocket surgery ;-) Edited December 13, 20214 yr by brus brother
December 21, 20214 yr Author Discovered the source of the problem. Washer hose was split, so leaking fluid, so not much fluid reached the windshield. Replaced the hose, and all is well.
